Heavy-duty vehicle with pendle-axles for recycling specialist
Bender Recycling GmbH & Co. KG is a traditional company based in Leverkusen that has specialized in the sustainable recycling of scrap and metals since 1928. As a certified waste disposal company and specialist company for end-of-life vehicle recycling, they offer a wide range of services, ranging from the dismantling of industrial plants to the recycling of rail vehicles and the environmentally friendly disposal of electrical equipment.

The diverse tasks in the field of recycling and disposal require a modern and efficient fleet. In order to continue to meet these requirements, Bender Recycling GmbH & CO. KG is continuously investing in its vehicle fleet. One example of this is the Faymonville Gigamax 1+3, which we delivered to the company in late summer last year. The extendable low-bed semi-trailer is ideal for transporting heavy machinery and plant components, such as those that arise during dismantling and demolition projects.
Vehicle class also present at BAUMA
Vehicles in this class are not only in demand at companies like Bender Recycling GmbH & CO. KG. We regularly deliver specialized heavy-duty vehicles such as the GigaMAX to our customers – also as a rental vehicle! We offer companies the opportunity to use selected models – including low-bed trailers such as the Gigamax 1+3 – as part of flexible long-term rentals. In order to underline our position as a rental company for highly specialized vehicles and a qualified contact in the heavy-duty sector, we will therefore also be presenting a vehicle from this series at the upcoming BAUMA in Munich.
GigaMAX with a theoretical payload of over 51,000 kg
The Faymonville GigaMAX is characterized by its compact design and high payload capacity. Characteristic of this vehicle are one or two pendulum axles integrated into the gooseneck. This results in an extremely short overall length and a long loading area at the same time. This design improves maneuverability and increases the payload in the front area of the vehicle. The GigaMAX delivered to Bender Recycling GmbH & CO. KG can technically be extended by up to 3,000 mm and, in the delivered configuration, offers a theoretically possible payload of approx. 51,000 kg. In addition to numerous detailed solutions on the vehicle, the low bed has, among other things, foldable extensions with which the bed can be widened from approx. 2,740 mm to approx. 3,200 mm.
Steering angle of 60° for demanding tasks
The Faymonville GigaMAX’s pendle-axle-system has a lifting height of 600 mm and a steering angle of up to 60°. This design enables excellent maneuverability and adaptability to uneven terrain, making it easier to transport heavy and oversized loads even in demanding conditions. These features make the GigaMAX a versatile solution for transporting heavy construction machinery, industrial equipment and other oversized goods – just right for a company like Bender Recycling GmbH & CO.
