2-axle lowbed semitrailer from MAX Trailer
MAX Trailer stands for a standardized modular system with high quality standards. Since we received the first MAX Trailer in 2012, the brand’s product range has grown steadily. We have now been able to sell over 500 vehicles of the brand from the Faymonville Group. The design and construction of the trailers have always been determined by the know-how and experience of the Faymonville Group. With the expansion and improvement of the product range, MAX Trailer follows the wishes of the customers. Our experience, which we have gained in the many years of cooperation with Faymonville and MAX Trailer, and in particular as part of our rental program, is also incorporated. With immediate effect, the MAX510 with pendle axles is also expanding the ES-GE product range.
Versatile lowbed semitrailer
With the MAX510, MAX Trailer has had a lowbed trailer with two axles, a detachable gooseneck and an extendable loading platform in its range for years. We have successfully placed the low-loader semitrailer, which was previously only available with pneumatic suspension, in our product portfolio from the start – both in sales and in the rental service. Now the customer can choose. MAX Trailer also offers the semitrailer with a pendle axle system. The proven system with 12 t axles has a total stroke of 600 mm. The axle technology is suitable for transports with demanding route profiles. In combination with the maximum steering angle of 60 °, the chassis masters rough terrain and narrow construction site entrances. Once there, the retractable gooseneck on the MAX510 enables a practical option to drive construction vehicles such as excavators directly to the front of the loading area.
Container transport and long material
Not only construction vehicles can be placed between the chassis and the gooseneck. The extendable loading area of the MAX510 lowbed semitrailer is optionally equipped with container locks. Containers with a length of 20 ‘to 40‘ can be fixed on the loading area and safely transported from A to B. But transport options are not only available between the chassis and the gooseneck: with the aid of a loading frame, the MAX510 lowbed semitrailer can, for example, accommodate longitudinal beams with a length of up to approx. 23,500 mm. The gooseneck and a support mounted on the chassis then serve as the support surface.
MAX510 basic equipment and weights
In the basic configuration, the trailer weighs approx. 13,030 kg. Taking into account the axle loads of 2 x 12,000 kg, a 5th wheel load of 18,000 kg and the total weight of 42,000 kg, the low bed offers a payload of approx. 28,970 kg. Ideally, the MAX510 with pendle axles is operated with a 6×2 tractor unit. Technically, the fifth wheel load of the MAX510 is 23,000 kg. The deadweight and payload of the trailer naturally vary depending on the selected configuration, which can be adjusted using the modular system of MAX Trailer. Our team will be happy to advise you if you would like to order an individually assembled vehicle. Preconfigured vehicles for our stock are already ordered in advance. These vehicles can also be customized up to a certain point in time in production, for example with color preferences. Just talk to us.

Our customer Etablissement Kerger S.A. is not only characterized by its 50-year company history. In Bissen, Luxembourg a team of 65 people is specalized in the construction of halls for agriculture and industry. The professionals from the heart of Luxembourg offer a complete service for every construction project. Planning, permits, earthworks and demolition work, concrete work and the final hall construction – everything is in one hand. Renovation work and repairs of roofs are also part of the extensive range of services. Of course, this requires an impressive a fleet of vehicles and machines: excavators, tractors, trucks with loading cranes, chain cranes as well as mobile cranes. So the team can draw on the full potential during every construction project.
Repainted and delivered
Crane, truck and trailer – preferably yesterday. No problem! Painted in the company’s own color combination? Let’s go! Less than 6 weeks after the first contact, we were able to hand over the vehicles to our customer – in the right “dress”, of course. Our stock of new vehicles and the long-term planned construction-slots often enable us to realize very short delivery times. The Volvo of the type FH 460 CHH-LOW 6 × 2 with a low construction container-platform-superstructure was available as a new vehicle on our premises. It only had to be repainted. Since trucks with loading cranes have established themselves as an important part of our delivery program, new vehicles are continiously being planned. Deliveries and satisfied rental customers confirm our assessments.

The chassis is powered by a 12.8 liter diesel engine. Its exhaust gases flow out of the exhaust pipe in accordance with EURO 6D. The power unit transfers the power to the automated I-Shift transmission. Technically, the package could move a total train weight of 60,000 kg. There is at least enough space behind the cab. The platform with the dimensions 6,300 x 2,480 x 600 / 1,900 mm (side and front wall) has container locks, side walls and stake pockets. So it’s good to have your own crane with you for loading. The loading crane has a hydraulic range of 14.10 m. Horizontally, it carries a maximum load of 3,030 kg. The endlessly swiveling device with the abbreviation “a5” reaches a height of up to approx. 18 m. The “5” stands for the fivefold extension. The combination of Volvo + MKG works. Both tenants and end customers report positively and are satisfied. Instructions for the crane with the designation HLK 531HP a5 are carried out conscientiously by our experienced service team.
ES-GE trailer
Our varbiable tandem trailer completes the new Kerger train. The delivered variant is equipped with side walls and was delivered with attachable ramps that can be placed under the loading floor during the journey. Technically, the central axle trailer offers a possible total weight of max. 20,500 kg (axle load + vertical load). Depending on the equipment, it weighs approx. 4,675 kg when empty. Like the towing vehicle, the trailer also has container locks that enable 20‘ containers to be transported. If necessary, the drawbar can be adjusted in length in steps of 100 mm.

Faymonville MultiMAXwith tarpaulin
The Faymonville MultiMAX can surely be called a core product of the Faymonville brand. Whereby there is no such thing as “the one” MultiMAX. The model series now includes countless variants. The range of low-loaders with goosenecks extends from 2 to 10-axle vehicles, which – depending on the version – can be extended up to 50 m. Pendulum axles? Wheel recesses in the loading area? Hydraulic or self-steering? Sure. Faymonville builds. We deliver. Of course, not all variants can be combined on one vehicle, but vehicles from the MultiMAX series are without a doubt the perfect all-round product for construction sites and terrain.
MulitMAX with variable tarpaulin superstructure
The Faymonville MultiMAX with lifting platform and tarpaulin superstructure is new to the delivery program and therefore also part of our product portfolio. The basic model, equipped with a loading area that can be hydraulically raised behind the gooseneck over a length of approx. 3,000 mm, is now available with a highly variable superstructure. The roof of the tarpaulin superstructure can be slid forward on roof strap profiles. It can also be adjusted in height by approx. 400 mm. At the rear, a mechanical system allows the user, to widen the superstructure on both sides for 900 mm each. This makes loading of extra wide loads a lot easier. Raisable also means lowerable! When completely lowered, there is a is a level loading area with a length of approx. 9,200 mm behind the gooseneck.
Perfect for forklifts and work platforms
Thanks to its equipment, the self-steering (last axle) semi-low loader is a perfect tool for the dry and clean transport of forklifts as well as lifting and working platforms under tarpaulin. The two-part hydraulic steel ramps at the rear ensure convenience and safety when loading. They are equipped with a serrated grating and a lacquered sand coating on the edges. The latter can also be found on the outer frame of the loading area. This provides additional grip. If necessary, the optionally available electric cable winch can assist. The remote-controlled winch is mounted in front of the neck and has a maximum pulling force of 5,400 kg. If the vehicle is equipped with a front wall, the approx. 9.5 mm thick and approx. 24 m long rope is passed through a cutout in it.
High quality standards
In addition to the practical solutions on the vehicle the robustness of the products is always at the top of the specifications – not only for Faymonville but also for us. From the chassis to the lamps, our long-standing supplier offers the usual high standard. The basis for the longevity of the steel construction made of high-strength fine-grained steels is laid in the in-house production. To prevent corrosion, visible surfaces are hot-finished with ZINACOR 850 (zinc 85% – aluminum 15%) after shot peening. After the final painting, a professional sealing with hot wax takes place. On request, defined parts of the construction or the entire chassis can be hot-finished.
